Another trip around the Sun

It’s been one hell of a year.

I’ve reached so many tipping points during the last year alone that I lost the count half-way into it. It’s been the best and the worst year of my life thus far, and I’ve grown a whole lot in so many areas. One of the things I’m particularly happy about is that I’ve accomplished many – mostly small – goals on my bucket list!

What I seriously struggled to understand throughout the year are the people that don’t have respect for someone else’s time and/or effort put into something, whatever it might be, and this goes for both my work and my personal life. Maybe one day I’ll come close or even fully understand it. If you have any insights, feel free to e-mail them to me – I’d love to hear your thoughts on this matter.

One of the most important things I’ve learned in the last couple of years – particularly during the last year alone – is to never take (my) kindness for a weakness🔗. This alone has helped me make better decisions that otherwise would’ve gone terribly wrong, and it changed my life for the better in so many ways. It also served me well while rebuild myself from the ground up.

I’ve been going through a lot lately, so my thoughts aren’t organized as I’d wish them to be. At the same time, I wouldn’t want to ramble about all the things because that would be too much.

Seems like a good time to get going, and hopefully not edit this post down the road; but before I go, quick announcement: I’m going to be spending more time researching, reading good stuff (hoping to read more books this year, especially books related to philosophy), and doing new interesting things. There will be some changes in my current projects, but more on that at a later date.
